Weekend recipe: Seitan Portuguesa

Ingredients:
6 medium potatoes with skin
1 cup tomato sauce
A bottle of coconut milk
2 onions into thick slices
1 / 4 cup oil or olive oil
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon soy sauce
250 gr seitan
2 boiled eggs and sliced
1 / 2 green pepper, sliced
black olives
sprigs parsley
Salt to taste

Preparation:

First we let the seitan to marinate in lemon juice and Tamari for two hours- sale at any store and supermarket.
To cook the seitan, we can follow a traditional method:

Place the bottom of a frying pan, finely chopped onion, a clove of garlic. Let brown and then add the seitan. Let stand over low heat for 15 minutes. Then just try and correct the seasoning if necessary.

Cook the potatoes in their skins. Once cooked and peeled, cut each one in half, and place them in one form or the board, so that the the cut pieces face up.Sprinkle with salt but without overdoing it ....
Then add the cooked Seitan with sauté chopped onions.

Aside, mix the tomato sauce, bay leaves, coconut milk and simmer for 3 minutes.

Put on top of the potatoes and seitan this sauce you prepared .

Bake for 20 minutes.

Remove from oven and garnish with sliced egg and olives pitted.

And it's ready to serve.
